- Launch Edge from your Start menu, desktop, or taskbar.
- Click the Hub button.
- Click Books.
- Click Sign in.
- Click your account if you've already signed in on this PC with a Microsoft account.

- Click See more to launch the Store app.

Follow the steps below to install OverDrive for Windows (desktop) on a compatible computer.
- Go to overdrive.com/apps/overdrive.
- Click Download for Windows Desktop.
- Run or Open the MSI file to start the setup wizard.
- When the setup wizard opens, follow the prompts to install OverDrive for Windows (desktop).
Note: If you'd rather listen to audiobooks in your mobile browser, you may be able to use OverDrive Listen instead. Once you've borrowed and downloaded an audiobook in the app, go to your app Bookshelf, then tap the audiobook to start listening.
How to borrow and enjoy titles in the OverDrive app
- Install the OverDrive app from Google Play or the Amazon Appstore and sign in.
- Add your library to the app and open its digital collection.
- Find an available title in your library's collection and tap Borrow.
- Choose a lending period for the title (if available).
To get started, borrow a streaming video from your library's digital collection. Then, go to your Checkouts page (under your Account), and: If you're using a web browser (like Chrome or Safari) or OverDrive for Windows 8/10, click or tap Play to start watching in a new tab.
OverDrive is a free service offered by your library or school that lets you borrow digital content (like ebooks and audiobooks) anytime, anywhere. Every OverDrive collection is slightly different because each library or school picks the digital content they want for their users.
Download the audiobook to OverDrive for Windows. Find the audiobook files on your computer. By default, you'll find them under [My] Documents > My Media > MP3 Audiobooks.

To sign into the OverDrive app with a library card, follow the steps below.
- When you open the OverDrive app for the first time, select Sign up (or Sign in).
- Select Sign up using library card (or Sign in using library card).
- Search for your library by name or location.
- Select your library once you find it.
Response time overdrive allows you to push the monitor's response time speed (pixel transition time) in order to decrease the trailing/ghosting of fast-moving objects. Depending on the refresh rate, too strong overdrive can cause pixel overshoot or inverse ghosting.
Listen to audiobooks you've downloaded
- On your computer, open Google Play Books.
- Click My books open an audiobook. Play.
- Optional: You can also change how the audiobook is played: To jump ahead 30 seconds, click Forward 30 seconds . To go back 10 seconds, click Replay 10 seconds .
You can listen to titles directly from the Audible website, or download them to your computer. To listen from the Audible website: Go to Click Play next to the title you'd like to listen to.

- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Books App .
