Under My Notebooks, right-click (PC) or Control-click (Mac) the name of the notebook that you want to export, and then click Export notebook. On the screen that opens, click Export. Follow your browser's prompts to save the file in the location you choose.

Microsoft is continuing mainstream support for OneNote beyond October 2020. This means you can continue using it and expect to see new feature updates. Back up notes
- Choose File > Options.
- In the OneNote Options dialog box, choose Save & Backup.
- On the right, under Save, choose Backup Folder > Modify.
- In the Select Folder dialog box, go to your backup folder.
- Choose Select to accept the new location, and then click OK.

Sync a notebook in OneNote for Windows
- Click File > Info > View Sync Status.
- In the Shared Notebook Synchronization dialog box that opens, do either of the following: Click Sync All to sync all of your shared notebooks. Click Sync Now next to the specific notebook that you want to sync.

If you have a notebook stored locally on your computer that you wish to move to the cloud, go to File > Share in OneNote and pick a web location such as OneDrive, and then click Move Notebook. OneNote will upload the notebook to OneDrive and set up direct sync.
Unlike OneNote 2016 for Windows, OneNote for Mac does not have the feature to set the Page Size to A4.

Do the following to manually sync your notes.
- On your Android phone, open OneNote, and then on the bottom left, tap Notebooks.

What you need to do is download the app OneDrive and then sign up. It may help if you log in to OneNote via your browser, create the new notebook, then click the tab (top right of browser page) to "open in OneNote, then it will open the app and force the app to open the new notebook.
