- Log in to your Western Union profile through wu.com or our mobile app.

Most major money order issuers do not allow customers to correct mistakes on money orders. You cannot cross the information out and rewrite it or use white-out; instead, you will usually need to get a replacement for the money order.
Instead, the USPS will replace a damaged or incorrect money order at no charge. To replace the money order, you must return the money order and the matching customer receipt to a USPS location. Once you complete the PS Form 6401 (Money Order Inquiry), a USPS clerk will immediately reissue the money order.
Do not cross out or attempt to change the name of the payee after filling it out; any attempted alterations or corrections will make the money order ineligible for cashing. Bring your money order and receipt to a bank or check-cashing store and ask if they will refund it for you.
To cancel a money order, contact the issuer, provide details, attach a copy of the receipt, submit the cancellation form and pay a fee. Whether you received a money order or bought one to pay someone else, losing it doesn't always mean saying goodbye to your funds.
