Overall, I found the Powerbeats Pro to sound louder, clearer, and more all-encompassing than the AirPods. While Apple's AirPods generally offer high sound quality, especially for the price, they almost sounded a bit muted in comparison to the Powerbeats Pro.
If you like the style of Beats and are buying its headphones for that reason, yes, they're worth it. On the other hand, if you're looking for something that sounds good for the price, then no, they're not worth it.
Apple bought Beats in 2014 for $3 billion, and the hardware and music-streaming service run by Dr. Dre and music executive Jimmy Iovine has become the backbone of Apple's own streaming service, which now reportedly has 36 million paying subscribers.

Powerbeats Pro do not support noise cancellation, though you will get a certain level of noise isolation thanks to the in-ear design. Powerbeats Pro sound significantly better than AirPods, and we expect AirPods Pro to sound significantly better than AirPods.
The case extends that to 24 hours of use. Our original pair of Powerbeats Pro battery life still holds well after a year. It's expected that the batteries will lose some overall capacity. That's just how lithium ions work, but depending on volume level, we can still end up somewhere between 8-9 hours.
There's a microphone in each Powerbeats Pro earbud, so you can make phone calls and use Siri. You can also set Microphone to Always Left or Always Right. These set the microphone to either the left or right earbud. That earbud will be the microphone even if you remove it from your ear or put it in the case.
They fall out when running…But for easy days, they're perfectly fine. I do still have these earbuds with over-the-ear hooks for intense runs. But but I know MANY people who love the Airpods for all types of runs. I think if the corded Apple Earbuds stay in your ears while running, these will too.
One benefit of AirPods Pro over standard AirPods is that they fit into your ears better, making them less likely to fall out. But they still don't fit perfectly for everyone despite shipping with three different sizes of tips in the box. It's not only a case of making AirPods Pro fall out of your ears less, either.
The AirPods are smaller and more convenient to carry and offer more convenient wireless charging methods, while the Powerbeats Pro offer longer battery life, superior sweat resistance, more color options, sound isolation, and potentially a different sound profile.
The good news is that the Beats sound profile makes the best of lower-quality music streaming services. The new Apple AirPods (2019) are a marked improvement over the (dull-sounding) first generation version. There's no artificial bass boost, but they're louder and more composed.
Due to their cheaper build quality (they break easily) at their price point they should not be so flimsy either.
Beats Solo3: $130The biggest change from the previous Solo2 is the boost Apple made to battery life -- the Solo3 boasts best-in-class battery life with a runtime of 40 hours.
5 Headphones That Are Better Than Beats In 2020
- Sony WH-1000XM3. Great Value. USB Type C charging cable for longer life.
- Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. Great Noise Cancellation. Noise-cancelling microphone.
- Sennheiser PXC 550. Awesome Design. Mode for cycling through levels of ANC.
- Microsoft Surface Headphones. Cool Looks.
- Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT. Great Sound Quality.
Beware! The Apple Beats 3 wireless over ear Headphones are cheaply made and break easily. They snap at the joints where they fold. This affects the fit and not only looks weird while you wear them, but makes the noise cancelling not as effective.
What makes Beats By Dre headphones so expensive? Beats in comparison, is not worth it, the company gives a huge commission to retailers, because of such cheap promotion, its popular in punjab, haryana even Delhi. Beats as a brand name, appeals only based on their design, symbolism as an accesory, fashion.
Beats' headphones also come with a built-in microphone and the ability to handle telephone calls. The built-in microphone works well and those on the other side of the call could hear me without trouble. Not bad.
Mine lasted about two years, same problem as the other person. The right side stopped working. If you take care of them, they can last a lifetime.
The Studio 3 is sturdier, more isolated with noise cancellation features, but significantly more expensive than its sibling. The Solo3, with its on-ear design, feels more portable and less bulky, though it sacrifices some structural reinforcement offered by the Studio 3.
While wearing headphones you regularly need to adjust them for the sake of comfort. However, with each adjustment, there is rubbing (traction) on the scalp. This causes traction alopecia or hair loss. With short hair, individual hair strands are pulled which makes them more susceptible to being damaged.
Many of the complaints about how uncomfortable Beats are stem from its 'clamping effect'. The clamp refers to how hard a headphone presses against the head. Every on-ear or over-ear headphone will have some degree of clamping. If they didn't, then they'd slide right off your head.
Not easily, at least. Like most Apple products these days, there's copious amounts of glue holding everything together. It's not totally impossible, then, but you'll need a lot of luck on your side if you want to get your Powerbeats Pro open without breaking them. There's no real reason to open them up anyway.
Amazon Echo BudsThe Powerbeats Pro work well enough with Android phones, but you really need an iPhone to get the most out of them. But Amazon's Echo Buds are just as happy on Android as they are on iOS, making them an ideal workout partner for users of either platform.
You can also go to settings -> sound -> device properties. Here you can enable Spatial Sound (see img 1). From there you can go to Additional Device Settings -> Enhancements. Here you can enable things such as Bass Boost (see img 2).
Answer phone callsTo answer or end a call, press the Beats logo button once. To answer a second incoming call and put the first call on hold, press once. When two calls are active, press once to switch between calls. To decline an incoming call, press and hold the Beats logo button for 1 second.
Like AirPods, Powerbeats Pro earphones have no power buttons. Powerbeats Pro turn on when you remove them from the charge case, and Powerbeats Pro turn off when they return to the case. Powerbeats Pro will preserve battery using sleep mode, however, when their sensors determine that they're idle.
