Do I Have To Rehydrate Dried Mealworms First? You don't have to soak your dried mealworms in water before you use them. However, soaking them in warm water for 30 minutes before you offer them out is a brilliant way to give your garden birds some extra hydration.
Our products typically have a 2 year shelf life. It is best to keep them sealed in an air tight container in a cool dry place. We do not recommend keeping them in the refrigerator or freezer. Refrigerating or freeze can cause unwanted moisture to collect inside the bag which can lead to mold or bacteria growth.
